Thank you very much Prime Minister (Massimov), Minister (Idrissov). Thank you first of all for having invited me and hosted me today in Astana for two things that to me are extremely important.

One is the very intense and fruitful day of meetings we have had with all our friends and colleagues from the other Central Asian republics to work concretely on our joint regional cooperation.

Thank you very much. We had a very good meeting this afternoon with our Central Asian partners, and I would like to thank my friend, Foreign Minister Idrissov, for generous hospitality.

Today in Astana, the European Union and Kazakhstan signed an Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement.

The Agreement was signed by Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, and by Erlan Idrissov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
