The European Union Film Festival jointly organised by the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic and the Embassies of the EU Member States will open its doors on 20 to 24 April 2016 at the Ala-Too cinema.


Mozambique's political and security situation, notably in the centre of the country, is affected by an escalating cycle of violence.

It is important that a framework for a peaceful and negotiated political solution be agreed upon as soon as possible.

The Department of Education is proud to announce the official launching of the Human Resources Development Programme Phase 2 (HRDP2).HRDP2 is a Government of Papua New Guinea Department of Education programme aimed at increasing access to quality lower secondary vocational education and training. The programme is funded by the European Union to the tune of EUR 26 million (approximately PGK 85 million). It will be implemented until mid-2019.

EU Ambassador in Mongolia for project launch and talks

On 11-2 April, EU Ambassador to Mongolia Mr. Hans Dietmar Schweisgut was in UB for the launch of a new job creation project, funded by the EU, entitled "Support to employment creation in Mongolia (SECiM): Piloting quality private sector work in selected livestock and vegetable value chains".
