On 19-20 September 2016 the Kyrgyz national kick-off meeting of a EU-funded project worth 5 million euros was successfully conducted in Bishkek. The event was co-organized by the implementer ISTC, the EU Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Centres of Excellence Initiative (CBRN CoE) and Kyrgyz Governmental partners. The meeting was opened by Mr. Tolongutov, Director of the Center of State Regulation of the Environment Protection and Safety, Mrs. Riva, DG DEVCO representative, and Mr. Visser, P53-project manager, ISTC.
Thursday 29 September 2016 | Opening the 2016 Conference on EU-India with Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi; Cesare Onestini, EU Deputy Head of Delegation underlined that ''cooperation between institutions of higher education and the exchange of scholars and students play a crucial role in enhancing mutual knowledge and better understanding of India and the EU, and of its people''.
A mobile application, developed with EU support, will enable consumers to access official food safety inspection results for enterprises in Tbilisi via smartphone. With help of this mobile application citizens will be able to view enterprise products or services which they consume in order to make more informed choices.
