Representantes del Ministerio Público, la Unión Europea, la Agencia Española de Cooperación (AECID) y la Secretaría General del Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana (SG-SICA), inauguraron el curso regional de formación fiscal sobre Cibercrimen, como delito cometido por el crimen organizado,
El curso forma parte del Plan Maestro de Formación Fiscal de la Estrategia de Seguridad de Centroamérica (ESCA), financiado por la UE y la AECID a través del Programa de Cooperación Delegada UE-España en apoyo de la ESCA (€14M, 2013 -2017).
El Encargado de Negocios de la Unión Europea en Panamá, Sr. Giovanni Di Girolamo se refirió al apoyo que tanto la Unión Europea, en conjunto con AECID brindan, tomando como prioridad la cooperación en el sector de la seguridad centroamericana.
Di Girolamo subrayó, que los ataques cibernéticos muestran la magnitud de las actividades de cibercrimen a nivel mundial, por lo que resulta necesario intervenir en el combate al delito, cómo en su prevención.
En la actividad también participó la Procuradora General de la Nación, Dra. Kenia Porcell.

An interactive exhibition highlighting the security dangers of climate change will open in Canberra today as part of European Climate Diplomacy Week.

Climate diplomacy week is organised by the European Union and the touring “Environment, Conflict & Cooperation” will help promote this year's key themes of climate security and resilience. 

The EU's Ambassador to Australia, Sem Fabrizi, says the week's aim is to promote ambitious climate resilience policies both at home and abroad to foster peace and stability worldwide.

The goal of this initiative is to contribute to peacebuilding through green growth in marginalized areas that have been affected by violence, by promoting local sustainable development and livelihoods of populations living in socially and environmentally sensitive areas.

The objective of the Atlantic Ocean Tropical tuna Tagging Programme (AOTTP) is to contribute to food security and economic growth of the developing Atlantic coastal states by ensuring sustainable management of tropical tuna resources in the Atlantic Ocean.

On 20 June 2017, the European Union and the Republic of Moldova held the eighth round of their Human Rights Dialogue in Chisinau.

In line with its policy of consulting civil society ahead of meetings on human rights, the European Union met representatives of Moldovan and international Civil Society Organisations prior to the Dialogue. Civil Society representatives were also invited to the Dialogue and attended as observers.
