Pinoy children and youth are in for a special cultural treat this weekend on Friday 5 June at 10:30 a.m. and on Saturday 6 June at 8pm through the FB page of the EU Delegation to the Philippines.  

The European Union Delegation to the Philippines together with the Embassies of Czech Republic, France, Italy (through the Philippine-Italian Association)  Poland, and the Manila Street Astronomers have developed a cultural extravaganza of  films, games, songs, stories and an astronomy event.    

Although the European Union is one of the most affected regions in the world, it is firmly committed to assist its partner countries in their efforts to meet the urgent health and humanitarian needs caused by COVID-19.

It plays an important role in international affairs through diplomacy, trade, development aid and working with global organisations. Abroad, the EU is represented through more than 140 diplomatic representations, known also as EU Delegations, which have a similar function to those of an embassy.

The EU Delegation to Sierra Leone manages cooperation projects in the priority areas of infrastructure, governance, macro-economic support and rural development. The EU cooperation programme in Sierra Leone is presented in the Country Strategy Paper for Sierra Leone (https://eeas.europa.eu/node/4677_en) which has been developed with the national authorities
