É importante chegar-se a um quadro para uma solução política negociada com a maior brevidade possível.

Tal requer o envolvimento de todos. A União Europeia está empenhada em contribuir para este processo.

O impasse actual tende a agravar as dificuldades económicas e financeiras do país. Esta situação prejudica os negócios e os investimentos, tanto públicos como privados.


Yesterday's decision by the so-called prosecutor of Crimea to suspend the activities of Mejlis, a self-governing body of the Crimean Tatars, is extremely worrying and constitutes a grave attack on the rights of the Crimean Tatars. This decision, taken in the context of the on-going court case aiming at banning its activities as an extremist organisation, must be reversed immediately.


La décision prise hier par la «procureur de Crimée» de suspendre les activités du Mejilis, l'assemblée autonome des Tatars de Crimée, est extrêmement préoccupante et constitue une grave atteinte aux droits de ces derniers. Cette décision, prise dans le cadre de la procédure juridictionnelle en cours qui vise à interdire les activités du Mejilis au motif qu'il s'agit d'une organisation extrémiste, doit être annulée avec effet immédiat.


The European Union Film Festival jointly organised by the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic and the Embassies of the EU Member States will open its doors on 20 to 24 April 2016 at the Ala-Too cinema.

The Department of Education is proud to announce the official launching of the Human Resources Development Programme Phase 2 (HRDP2).HRDP2 is a Government of Papua New Guinea Department of Education programme aimed at increasing access to quality lower secondary vocational education and training. The programme is funded by the European Union to the tune of EUR 26 million (approximately PGK 85 million). It will be implemented until mid-2019.

The High-Representative/Vice-President of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini will travel to Lampedusa on Friday 15 April,   where she will board the vessel ITS Cavour. This is the first visit of the HRVP Mogherini to a EUNAVFOR MED flagship. She will be briefed on the situation regarding the operation, its work and achievements. EUNAVFOR MED Operation Sophia was launched on 22 June 2015 with the objective to fight and disrupt the business model of smugglers and traffickers.
