"The multiple terrorist attacks committed by Daesh on Sunday in Sadr City and in Mahmoudiya, south of Baghdad, have killed a large number of people and wounded many others who were going about their daily business.
We extend our condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wish a full recovery to those injured in the attacks.
These attacks are a demonstration of and a clear response to the military setbacks and major territorial losses suffered by Daesh.
