The European Union, with its Member States, is the world’s biggest donor of development assistance and among the first global trading partners and foreign investors. As a Union promoting peace, stability and a rules-based global order, it is faced with many challenges as well as opportunities in an increasingly complex and inter-connected world. Prosperity and peace in the EU’s neighbourhood and beyond are crucial for the EU’s own stability and security. This is why the European Union is proposing an increase in its current budget for the next Multiannual Financial Framework. A true geopolitical actor also needs an ambitious budget to deliver.

3 June 2020, SUVA, FIJI – A new partnership has been launched today between the European Union (EU), UNICEF and the Government of Kiribati to provide improved access to water, sanitation and better hygiene for communities living in the most remote islands in Kiribati: Kiritimati, Teraina and Tabuaeran, in the Line group.

European Union Twinning Project “Support to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the accession to the Convention on a Common Transit Procedure, Convention on Simplification of Formalities in Trade in Goods and implementation of the New Computerised Transit System” is looking for candidates to fill in positions of Language Assistant to Resident Twinning Adviser and Resident Twinning Adviser's Assistant.
