Message by the Head of the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao, Carmen Cano, on the next Chief Executive


During the past days there have been a number of articles about the European Union’s cooperation with the Philippines authorities in the fight against drugs. Some of these have been misleading, and the EU Delegation would therefore like to offer the following clarifications:

The authors are the Ambassadors to China of the European Union and the 28 EU Member States of Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.




Statement by the Spokesperson on the anti-corruption demonstrations across the Russian Federation


Afghan's sees the judiciary as the most corrupt part of public administration in Afghanistan. Therefore the EU in Afghanistan again puts corruption in the judiciary on the agenda of its annual anti-corruption campaign. From today and until Sunday 2.April the EU will focus on judicial corruption.
