Après des mois de négociations, la Commission européenne a obtenu aujourd'hui un engagement pour les dix prochaines années visant à sauver les ressources halieutiques de la Méditerranée et à protéger la richesse écologique et économique de la région.

A Technical Assistance Mission comprising of the experts of the Customs Department of the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania paid a visit to Uzbekistan. The mission held under the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA) that is funded by the European Union.

Statement by the European Council 1

Yesterday, the European Council received a letter from the British Prime Minister, Theresa May, notifying the United Kingdom's intention to leave the European Union. This notification follows the referendum of 23 June 2016 and starts the withdrawal process under Article 50 of the Treaty. We regret that the United Kingdom will leave the European Union, but we are ready for the process that we now will have to follow.

ASTANA – Today the 16th meeting of the European Union (EU) and Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee was held in Astana. The meeting was chaired by Director of the European External Action Service Luc Devigne and Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko. The first meetings of the Trade Committee and of the Customs Subcommittee under the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (EPCA) were also organised with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan.
