Erasmus+ is the European Union (EU) programme for education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020. Erasmus+ funds academic mobility and cooperation projects that involve partners from "Programme Countries" and "Partner Countries" throughout the world. Erasmus+ supports activities that are closely matched with the EU's priorities for cooperation policy with partner countries and regions. Three years into the programme, we can see how popular these initiatives are.

On the occasion of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage, the EU Delegation, in cooperation with embassies and cultural centres of EU Member States, will present a photo exhibition titled ''Islamic Art in the collections of the European Museums''.
The exhibit will show the different Islamic art pieces that are available in museums from 17 EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden.
This photo exhibition is conceived as a bridge between the Our Ocean conference hosted by the EU in Malta last year and this year's edition, to be held in Bali in October. Through striking photos, it recalls the importance of preserving oceans, while presenting some of the EU's efforts to achieve this goal.
