En el Consejo Conjunto UE-Cuba, el Alto Representante/Vicepresidente Josep Borrell mantuvo un fructífero debate con el ministro cubano de Relaciones Exteriores, Bruno Rodríguez, sobre las relaciones UE-Cuba en general.


At the EU-Cuba Joint Council, High Representative/Vice-President Josep Borrell had a fruitful discussion with Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister Bruno Rodriguez on overall EU-Cuba relations. This included taking stock of dialogues under the EU-Cuba Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement (PDCA) and future cooperation in the years ahead.

In particular, they discussed the impact of US sanctions on the Cuban economy and on EU trade and investment interests.

I am very pleased to welcome here in Brussels, at the headquarters of the European External Action Service, my colleague and friend, the Turkish Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. We will spend some time taking stock of the relations between the European Union and Turkey and we will discuss the way forward.
