Timor-Leste is one of the least developed countries in the region. Its economy is essentially agriculture-based, with approximately 75% of its total population of about 1.1 million living in rural areas.
The project aims to support conflict transformation by promoting mutual understanding and cooperation between Jewish and Arab educators and students mainly on substantive, curriculum based activities through the introduction, adaptation and institutionalization of a proven European model for collaborative education within divided societies.
The objective of the project is to support the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics in aligning official statistics with the EU and other international organisations standards, guidelines, and best practices, in four different fields:
