Etant donné la proximité de la République centrafricaine (RCA) avec la province de l'Equateur en République Démocratique du Congo (RDC), où un foyer du virus Ebola a été déclaré récemment, l'Union européenne a débloqué XAF 40 millions (60 000 euros) en fonds humanitaires pour renforcer la capacité de prévention et de détection précoce en RCA.

13 July 2020, Brussels - The Council today adopted conclusions setting out the EU's priorities at the 75th General Assembly of the United Nations (September 2020 – September 2021), under the theme "Championing multilateralism and a strong and effective UN that delivers for all".

Personal protective equipment purchased by the World Health Organization (WHO) with the European Union’s funds has been delivered to the Minsk region. Healthcare facilities in the region have been provided with 455,500 units of personal protective equipment, including 300,000 medical masks, 133,000 respirators, 6,000 pairs of goggles, 6,000 face shields and 10,500 medical gowns.
