The EU’s external policies, strategies, instruments and missions to support stability, promote human rights and democracy, seek to spread prosperity and support the enforcement of the rule of law and good governance.

The EU is active in a wide range of topics, from human rights to transport and trade. A list of topics which summarise what the EU does in a specific area, useful links to relevant bodies, laws and documents.

“The Delegation of the European Union to China takes note of the adoption of China’s Law on the Management of Foreign Non-Governmental Organisations’ Activities Within Mainland China.

The United Nations Resident Coordinator, Mr Alvaro Rodriguez, and the European Union Head of Political, Press and Information, Ms. Luana Reale, have been on a two day joint visit in Mwanza Region. While in the region, the two delegates visited EU and UN supported development projects. They have also taken part in the national commemorations of the World Press Freedom Day held on Tuesday May 3rd, and organized by the Media Institute of Southern Africa – Tanzania Chapter (MISA-Tan) in collaboration with other media stakeholders.

Le Bureau de l'Assemblée Nationale et ses partenaires de l'Union européenne et de la France ont mis à profit la Journée mondiale de la liberté de la presse, le mardi 3 mai 2016, pour procéder au lancement de deux outils de communication importants pour le Parlement guinéen, à savoir : une radio "La voix du Parlementaire" et un site web (www.assembleeguinee.org).
