On 19 February, Kaliningrad will host an international conference “Openness and integration of EU and Russian economies. Global value chains” that is organised by the Delegation of the European Union to the Russian Federation together with Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University under the "EU-Russia Public Diplomacy" project.

Two more parties - the New Mon State Party and the Lahu Democratic Union - signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement with the Myanmar Government on 13 February 2018. The European Union signed the agreement as one of the international witnesses.

EU Ambassador Jernej Videtič was last week in Curacao for ground breaking ceremonies to commence works where the areas of Sapaté, Tera Kora and Kortijn / Otrobanda will get a well-deserved facelift with € 5 million in EU support. Contractors Curaçao Road Construction Company, MNO Vervat and Curcon Holding will, among other things, improve sewerage and infrastructure. There will also be a sports field in Kortijn and a community center in Sapaté.
