EU relations with Indonesia (a G20 member) are strong, reflecting Indonesia's status as the country with the 4th largest population in the world and an economic giant, accounting for 35 % of ASEAN GDP. The EU and Indonesia share similar values on regional development, democracy, human rights and the environment.


The European Union (EU) programme of cooperation supports Indonesia’s development strategy.

Hubungan UE dengan Indonesia (anggota G20) sangatlah kuat, terlihat dari status Indonesia sebagai negara dengan populasi terbesar ke-4 di dunia dan raksasa ekonomi, dengan 35% dari PDB ASEAN. UE dan Indonesia memiliki nilai yang sama dalam perkembangan daerah, demokrasi, hak asasi manusia dan lingkungan.


Delegasi Uni Eropa untuk Indonesia dan Brunei berlokasi di Jakarta. Misi Delegasi Uni Eropa tersebut adalah untuk mewakili kepentingan Uni Eropa dan untuk membangun ikatan yang erat antara Uni Eropa dengan Indonesia, serta antara Uni Eropa dengan Brunei.
