EU Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E. Ambassador Johan Borgstam, has presented his credentials on 14 November 2017 to the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Dr. Mulatu Teshome. Discussions focused on political dialogue, development cooperation as well as trade and investment opportunities were also made.

As necessárias melhorias no planeamento e na gestão da saúde em Angola exigem base de dados actualizada e ferramenta adequada. Para atender a essa necessidade, o Programa de Apoio ao Sector da Saúde (PASS II), financiado pela União Europeia, realiza, de 21 a 24 de Novembro, o seu 2º Encontro Interprovincial de Municipalização da Saúde, a ocorrer na Direcção Provincial de Saúde de Benguela.

L’association Droit et justice organise une conférence sous le thème : « Arsenal juridique pour la consolidation de l’égalité homme-femme », le Vendredi 24 Novembre au Sofitel de Casablanca à partir de 15h. Cette conférence qui réunira les acteurs institutionnels, académiques et les organisations de la société civile impliqués dans la problématique de la prévention aux violences faites aux femmes, aura pour objectif d’échanger et de réfléchir sur les défis relatifs à l’adoption d’un cadre juridique national accompli visant à réprimer toutes les formes de violences contre les femmes au Maroc.

What is the state of civil society across the globe? Is the space for civil society shrinking? What can be done at local and global level to strengthen enabling environments? Join us for a panel discussion with the European Union's Special Representative for Human Rights, Stavros Lambrinidis, and Indonesian speakers.

On November 20-23 two workshops on technical barriers to trade and intellectual property rights with participation of EU leading public administration experts were held in Astana. The workshops were organised by the European Commission and the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan and funded through the Partnership Instrument, in close cooperation with the Government of Kazakhstan. The event aims to facilitate the implementation of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (EPCA) between EU and Kazakhstan in the field of trade and investment.
