The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, spoke on 2 March by phone with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ara Aivazian. Their discussion focused on the entry into force of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) on 1 March 2021, as well as the recent developments in Armenia.

Grants to the total value of € 368,939 have been awarded to five organizations in Uganda to address biodiversity conservation needs.

The call for upscaling technologies developed by KALRO and partners to enhance agricultural productivity, value addition and income generation for smallholder farmers in Kenya has been published.

The European Economic and Trade Office is recruiting a policy officer (PP&I Section) as temporary worker for the period of two months (April, May 2021).
