Eleven experienced trainers from the Ministry of the Interior’s Regional Training Centres from different Ukrainian cities completed a training for trainers course in Kharkiv delivered by EUAM Ukraine in cooperation with the National University of Internal Affairs. The training course was the second of its kind in Kharkiv.
EUCAP Nestor organized a Maritime Legislation Workshop in Hargeisa, Somaliland in partnership with the Attorney General’s Office on 24-26 October. 31 participants (3 women) came from the Prosecution Office, the Somaliland Coast Guard and Immigration Department.The Workshop focused on enhancing the cooperation and networking between Somaliland Prosecutors, the Coast Guard and Immigration Departments.
EULEX Kosovo International Law Enforcement Unit organized a two day workshop on the 26-27 October for Kosovo Police and Kosovo Customs. The training aimed to bring closer day-to-day practices to Kosovo Customs and Police and its International Legal Cooperation Unit (ILECU), on how they can prevent and fight the trafficking of illicit goods.
Senior officers from the Afghan Ministry of Interior (MoI) developed their strategic leadership and management skills in a pilot course organized this week at the Afghan Police Staff College. This high-level leadership course was for the first time entirely organized by Afghan teachers at the end of October and no longer supported by EUPOL Afghanistan as the previous two courses.
