EUAM Iraq experts met recently with the Director of Human Rights, General Mohammed S. Salman, in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, Office of the Inspector General. 

General Salman is responsible for the observation and enforcement of human rights in the Ministry of Interior and persons in custody of the Ministry of Interior, at the headquarters level in Baghdad as well as throughout the country.

With financial support of the European Union CAREC Branch in Uzbekistan announces a contest for residents of Tashkent city and all regions of the Republic to create a sculpture sketch on the theme "Symbol of water and life protection". The contest is organized within EU funded UzWaterAware project and is timed to the World Water Day, which is held annually on March 22, with the goal of drawing global attention to the problems of water resources on Earth.

Faces2Hearts – an EU initiative – is a worldwide blogging experience that is taking four young bloggers on a 5-month journey of discovery across three continents: Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Africa. Lauren Kana Chan, one of the four Faces2Hearts bloggers, was on an 18-day journey (9-26 March 2018) to different parts of Indonesia, visiting five development projects funded by the European Union (EU) and sharing her stories online about the people that she encounters along her journey, as well as the environments and communities she discovers.
