Les ministres des affaires étrangères du groupe restreint de la coalition internationale de lutte contre Daech se sont réunis aujourd'hui à Rome, à l'invitation de leur homologue italien, Paolo Gentiloni, afin de faire le point sur les actions de la coalition et d'accélérer nos efforts communs visant à affaiblir Daech et, in fine, à vaincre cette organisation, à démanteler ses réseaux et à faire obstacle à ses ambitions planétaires.

Foreign Ministers of the Small Group of the Global Coalition to counter ISIL/Da’esh met today in Rome at the invitation of Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni to take stock of the Coalition’s work and to accelerate our unified efforts to degrade and ultimately defeat ISIL/Da’esh, dismantle its networks, and counter its global ambitions. The meeting was co-chaired by Foreign Minister Gentiloni and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

The international community must remain united if it is to defeat the threat of Da’esh. That was the message of High Representative Federica Mogherini at the third ministerial meeting of the Small Group of the Global Coalition to counter Da'esh, in Rome today.
Humanitarian needs are still high in Ukraine, especially in villages and towns close to the contact line where fighting has taken place until recently. Since autumn 2015, aid has been finally reaching those in need in these areas. Thanks also to EU-funded assistance, Svetlodarsk – a town near the contact line – is slowly starting to come back to life.
