Within the framework of the celebrations of Europe Day 2018, the EUNIC Montevideo network of European national institutes of culture and the EU Delegation to Uruguay presented the third edition of the European Folkloric Festival.

European Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development, Neven Mimica and the Liberia Minister of Finance & Development Planning, Samuel D. Tweah, signed a new financing agreement today in Brussels in the presence of the President of the Republic, George Manneh Weah. The goal is to strengthen state building, improve public investment and support the delivery of basic services in the country.

The Parliament of Georgia has finalized the elaboration of its commitments for the 2018-2019 Open Parliament Action Plan, which include: supporting the implementation and monitoring of 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, increasing accountability before the citizens, developing deeper awareness of the public on parliamentary democracy, and strengthening its oversight of the transparency of Government activities.

Les 5 et 6 juin à Bruxelles, le Président du Faso, S.E.M. Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, a participé aux Journées Européennes du Développement (JED). Il était accompagné par M. Alpha Barry, Ministre des Affaires étrangères et de la Coopération, de M. Nicolas Meda, Ministre de la Santé et M. Abdoul Karim Sango, Ministre de la Culture, des Arts et du Tourisme.

With the official re-opening of a fully reconstructed bridge in Zrnovci, the European Union today marked the successful completion of a1 10-million program funded by the European Union aiming to rebuild roads, dams and other infrastructure damaged in the floods that hit the south and east of the country in early 2015. With  EUR 800,000, the 86-meter bridge was one of the biggest projects undertaken as part this program, which was implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). " The reconstruction of the bridge in Zrnovci was part of the 10M€ EU Flood Recovery Programme.
