A UE disponibiliza € 26 milhões (2.9 milhões de contos) aos países africanos de língua oficial portuguesa e a Timor Leste (PALOP-TL) - Angola, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique, São Tomé e Príncipe e Timor Leste - para promover dois programas no domínio do emprego no sector cultural e da reforma da gestão das finanças públicas.

No dia 19 de julho, às 18h, no Centro Cultural Português, a ONG “Cabaz di Terra”, no âmbito do Projeto Mulheres+, financiado pela União Europeia, realiza o seminário “Produtos Locais e Comercialização”, com o objectivo de salientar o valor socioeconómico da produção local, empreendedorismo e a relação com o mercado.

key reforms to overcome years of conflict and secure a better future for the Somali people.

La Mauritanie est en phase de devenir pionnière dans le développement des énergies renouvelables. Le gouvernement mauritanien a sollicité l'appui de l'Union européenne pour mener des réformes institutionnelles et juridiques en vue assurer une meilleure couverture en services énergétiques et garantir un meilleur potentiel pour la fourniture en énergie sur le marché régional.

Dear President [of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed], Margot [Wallstrom, Foreign Minister of Sweden], dear friends, It is a pleasure for me to see so many of us gathered today with commitment to a peaceful and stronger Somalia.

I would first of all convey our appreciation and our thanks to all of you and your delegation for your presence and for your being here, first of all to the President [Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed].

The European Union and Japan leaders meet today in Tokyo to reinforce their strategic partnership and sign two landmark agreements: the Strategic Partnership Agreement and the Economic Partnership Agreement, which creates an open trade zone covering over 600 million people and nearly a third of global GDP.
