Proper management of biological waste, for example from hospitals, prevents that someone gets infected by getting in contact with the waste. A national training workshop on biological waste management was held from 30 April to 3 May 2018 in Brunei Darussalam under the European Union Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence (CoE) initiative.

Participants from three small North Pacific island countries: Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands and Palau, joined development partners last week (23-27 April 2018) to share experiences from the 2015-2016 severe El Niño drought and ways to work with communities to secure food and water resources ahead of the next drought.

Dans la semaine du 23 au 27 avril 2018, une équipe de la mission s’est rendue dans la région de Ségou, ceci dans le cadre des actions décentralisées de la mission. Une trentaine de stagiaires gendarmes, gardes et policiers ont pris part à la formation sur la police judiciaire, le contre-terrorisme et le renseignement.
