The EU Ambassador to Montenegro, Oana Cristina Popa, sent a letter of support to the Centre for Women's Rights regarding the public reaction to the unacceptably low political representation of women, that is, the declining number of women in the Montenegrin Parliament and the exclusion of women from political negotiations.

La Unión Europea felicita al pueblo chileno por participar masivamente en el plebiscito por una nueva Constitución, a pesar de las difíciles circunstancias de la pandemia del COVID-19. Esta participación es una respuesta democrática a las demandas expresadas por la ciudadanía durante el último año y envía un mensaje claro a favor de un cambio pacífico.

The European Union congratulates the Chilean people on participating massively in the referendum for a new Constitution despite the difficult circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. This participation is a democratic response to the demands expressed by the citizens over the last year and it sends a clear message in favour of peaceful change.
