The EU High Representative Federica Mogherini co chaired today in Addis Ababa the African Union and European Commission meeting (c2c) together with the president  of the AU, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. The meeting was attended by Commissioners Thyssen, Dombrovskis, Ansip, Mimica, Bulc and Stylianides.

The High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini will travel to Jakarta on 8 April for a two-day visit focussing on EU-Indonesia and EU-ASEAN relations. The visit will provide an opportunity to discuss a range of bilateral issues, including enhanced political dialogue, cooperation in the security field and on countering radicalisation, advancing trade relations, protecting the environment and combatting climate change, as well as matters of regional and international importance such as the South China Sea and the Middle East.

The chief negotiators of the European Union and Malaysia initialled today the text of the EU-Malaysia Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia in Putrajaya. The initialling marks the successful closure of negotiations that started in October 2010.


Les négociateurs principaux de l'Union européenne et de la Malaisie ont paraphé ce jour le texte de l'accord de partenariat et de coopération UE-Malaise (APC), lors d'une cérémonie qui s'est déroulée au ministère malaisien des affaires étrangères à Putrajaya. Ce paraphe marque l'aboutissement des négociations entamées en octobre 2010.

Onsdag 13. april holder Helen Campbell to presentasjoner i Bergen. Ambassadøren vil snakke om EUs agenda, samt aktuelle temaer som TTIP, migrasjonsutfordringer og forholdet mellom Norge og EU.

Mandag 4. april startet Sindre Ramseng som Delegasjonens nye trainee. Han tar over for Martin Wilberg som på fredag avslutter sitt tre måneder lange traineeopphold hos oss. Sindre og Martin deler sine forventninger til og erfaringer fra traineeordningen, og oppfordrer alle interesserte til å søke.
