Human rights are at the heart of the European Union's external action and the EU reaffirms its role as a leading global proponent of the promotion and protection of human rights. On 28 May 2018, the Council adopted the EU's annual report on human rights and democracy in the world in 2017. See the update for Zambia below.

The European Union and the Philippine Department of Energy are committed to cut greenhouse gas emissions, simultaneously addressing issues of climate change and energy access and security by improving the operational efficiency of diesel power plants nationwide and their hybridization with renewable energy.

Today, in the New Zealand capital of Wellington, EU Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström and New Zealand's Minister for Trade and Export Growth David Parker officially launched negotiations today for a comprehensive and ambitious trade agreement.

The negotiations will aim at removing barriers to trade in goods and services, as well as developing trade rules to make trade easier and more sustainable.

Le projet doit prévenir et lutter contre la malnutrition chronique dans sept provinces du pays. Il est mis en œuvre par la Croix rouge du Burundi (appuyée par la Croix rouge de Belgique) et propose des interventions simples pour améliorer à terme le statut socio-économique des populations cibles au travers de leur santé nutritionnelle.
