Upgrade and improvement of the most Western part of the East-West highway, from Zestaponi to Adjara region in Georgia for a total length of about 68 km.

The European Union Delegation to Egypt organized on Monday the first Energy Efficiency Governance workshop along with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy and the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

The project targets a number of water supply and sanitation investment schemes throughout Georgia. It addresses more specifically social and environmental objectives by improving access to safe water and contributing to the environmental protection.

The project include last stage of rehabilitation of the Enguri HPP units and will allow the safe operation of Enguri HPP at full capacity. Rehabilitation of the Enguri-Vardnili cascade will also increase the safety in the Enguri HPP operation.

EU Election Observation Mission to Zambia deploys long-term observers

The 24 Long-Term Observers (LTOs) of the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM)  have been deployed from Lusaka on Friday, 15 July. The observers will cover all ten provinces of Zambia in teams of two, and will conduct a long-term observation and assessment of all aspects of the election process.
