European Experts of the Technical Assistance Exchange Instrument (TAIEX) participate together with governmental authorities of Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama in a workshop aimed at improving the level of competence and knowledge of customs agents in the identification of copied or falsified goods via a risk analysis and training in the targeting of goods.

The third meeting of the CARIFORUM-EU Joint Parliamentary Committee recently concluded in Trinidad and Tobago. The meeting ended with both sides reaffirming their commitment to the implementation of the EPA and to the engagement of Parliamentary representatives in the operation of the EPA.
