Two years ago, Ukrainians stood on Maidan Square demanding their right to determine the future of their country.  They asked for a country that looked ahead towards Europe, not behind to the past.

The EU Electoral Follow-up Mission (EFM) was deployed to assess electoral reform processes in Pakistan and the extent to which previous EU election-related concerns and recommendations have been addressed.

The European Union and NATO have today signed a Technical Arrangement between the NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC) and the Computer Emergency Response Team – European Union (CERT-EU).

The agreement facilitates technical information sharing between NCIRC and CERT-EU to improve cyber incident prevention, detection and response in both organisations, in line with their decision making autonomy and procedures.

La Comisión Europea aportó 10 millones de euros para la indispensable investigación sobre el virus Zika, en respuesta al incremento de los casos severos de malformaciones cerebrales congénitas reportadas América Latina, y su presunto enlace a infecciones por el virus Zika. Si se prueba el enlace, este dinero podría ser utilizado para combatir este virus, por ejemplo, mediante el desarrollo de diagnósticos y pruebas de posibles tratamientos o vacunas.
