The Eastern Partnership (EaP) is a joint initiative involving the EU, its Member States and six Eastern European Partners: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

CONTEXTO

Al menos 53 millones de personas en todo el mundo, de las cuales más del 83% son mujeres, se ganan la vida trabajando en labores domésticas. Esta cifra aumenta constantemente en los países desarrollados y en los países en desarrollo. Los trabajadores domésticos aportan una inestimable contribución económica, cultural y social a sus países de origen, tránsito y destino, pero su aportación suele pasar desapercibida. Por lo tanto, quedan excluidos de la protección de la legislación nacional.
