La Commission européenne pour l'efficacité de la justice du Conseil de l'Europe organise les 3 et 4 mai 2018 à Fès une deuxième session de formation à l’attention des greffiers des tribunaux marocains, dans le cadre du programme d'appui à la réforme de la justice au Maroc financé par l'Union européenne.

A new customs agreement between the EU and New Zealand officially entered into force on 1 May. The agreement enables both partners to work together to prevent, investigate and combat breaches of customs rules. It paves the way for more cooperation on customs security and a safer, trade-friendly environment for businesses and consumers alike. Total trade between the EU and New Zealand in goods amounted to €8.4 billion in 2017 and trade in commercial services amounted to a further €4.4 billion in 2016. The entry into force of the agreement follows its signature in July 2017.

The Joint Africa-EU Strategy (JAES) Reference Group on Infrastructure (RGI) will meet at its 6th annual meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 17-18 May 2018.

The EU Delegation hosted today a side-event on the management of the full life cycle of radioactive sources. The debate focussed in particular on international cooperation, as well as the value of strong dialogue between researchers, field practitioners, operators, regulators and policy makers.
