On April 12th, 2016, the EU Head of Delegation to Uganda, H.E Ambassador Kristian Schmidt, joined the European Business Forum in Uganda to officially announce the premier of the First Annual European Business Hub and Food Festival dubbed ‘3 Days in Europe’. The event is scheduled to take place in Kampala from May 6th to 8th, 2016 at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel gardens.

Le déroulement dans le calme de la journée électorale du 10 avril au Tchad témoigne de l'engagement de tous les Tchadiens d'accomplir leur devoir civique  et  leur attachement à la stabilité du pays malgré  les tensions pré-électorales observées et certaines difficultés logistiques.

Dans le même esprit, il importe que le processus de dépouillement et de compilation des votes se déroule dans l'ordre et de façon transparente et vérifiable. 


Election day in Chad passed off peacefully on 10 April, demonstrating the determination of all Chadians to perform their civic duty and their commitment to the country's stability, despite the tensions apparent in the run-up to the election and a number of logistical difficulties.

It is now important that the votes are counted in an orderly fashion and that the process is transparent and verifiable.



We, the Foreign Ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the High Representative of the European Union, have gathered in Hiroshima, Japan on April 10-11 to address a number of major international issues that impact global peace, security and prosperity.

We emphasize the importance of our meeting in Hiroshima seventy one years after World War II, which unleashed unprecedented horror upon the world. The people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki experienced immense devastation and human suffering as a consequence of the atomic bombings and have rebuilt their cities so impressively.
