Dans la matinée du 6 juillet 2018, l'Ambassadeur, Chef de la Délégation de l'Union européenne en Guinée, Gerardus GIELEN, a officiellement remis un important lot de matériel au ministre d'État, ministre de l'Environnement, des Eaux et Forêts, Oyé GUILAVOGUI, dans le cadre du volet environnement du Programme d’Appui à la Réforme du Secteur de Sécurité (PARSS3-Environnement) financé par l'Union européenne. La cérémonie s'est déroulée dans les locaux de direction nationale des eaux à forêt, à Conakry.

"These elections are a critical test of Zimbabwe’s reform process. Given the context of past elections, great efforts need to be made to ensure public and political confidence in the 2018 polls,” stated Elmar Brok, Chief Observer of the EU Election Observation Mission, in a press conference in Harare on Friday. Mr. Brok added: “Necessary efforts include transparency and inclusivity, confidence in the integrity of the voter roll, emphasis on secrecy of the vote and the peaceful conduct of the polls.”
