The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia has committed itself to promoting the rule of law and fighting impunity. Against this background, today's decision by President Ivanov on the pardoning of a number of officials raises serious concerns. It comes at a time when all parties should be seeking ways to preserve the Przino Agreement.
We call on all sides to avoid interventions that risk undermining years of efforts within the country and with the support of the international community to strengthen the rule of law.


On April 12th, 2016, the EU Head of Delegation to Uganda, H.E Ambassador Kristian Schmidt, joined the European Business Forum in Uganda to officially announce the premier of the First Annual European Business Hub and Food Festival dubbed ‘3 Days in Europe’. The event is scheduled to take place in Kampala from May 6th to 8th, 2016 at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel gardens.
