Each EU missions works in the framework of a comprehensive approach. The mission works in agreement and coordination with the EU Delegations in the same area and in the framework of EU regional policies.
In response to an invitation by the Kenyan Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), the European Union has deployed an Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) to observe the forthcoming general elections.
På mandag 12. juni ankom Federica Mogherini Norge for å holde bilaterale samtaler og delta på Oslo Forum. Forumet har blitt holdt årlig i 15 år og er et sted hvor politikere, fredsmeklere og forskere deltar for å diskutere konfliktløsning og fredsprosesser. Mogherini deltok i et panel den første dagen med utenriksministrene fra Norge, Iran, Indonesia og den tidligere utenriksministeren i USA John Kerry.
