Following the refurbishment, the former EU Info Centre returns in the form of a youth hub. In line with its purpose, Europe House was inaugurated by European Parliament President David Sassoli, who, together with Ambassador Samuel Žbogar, held a debate with high school students from all over the country

With a symbolic hand over of the key to the facility to students, European Parliament President David Sassoli officially opened Europe House, a place meant mainly for youth from all walks of life.

The purpose of the revamped former EU Info Centre is to bring together youths and to help them exchange ideas and connect them with other people so that they can create fresh opportunities for themselves and for the country.

The inaugural event included a debate of Sassoli and Ambassador Žbogar with high school students from Berovo, Centar Zhupa, Demir Hisar, Kavadarci, Kochani, Skopje, Struga, Strumica, Tetovo, Valandovo and Vinica on the topic 'The vision of youth about EU'.

'The future is in both our hands and your hands', said Sassoli, stressing that the EU should help North Macedonia become a member and participate in the building of a new Europe, a process in which the youth should be in the lead.
