Support to Kenya civil society actors in conflict prevention, peace building and crisis preparedness - Land related conflicts

 

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Kenya is seeking proposals for actions in Kenya with the financial assistance from the EU Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace (IcSP).

 

The call aims to:

  • strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations in Kenya in addressing the conflicts dynamics revolving around land tenure and access to natural resources;
  • advance engagement and cooperation among civil society organisations, the private sector and national and county level public authorities to enhance land governance and management, including natural resources, to prevent tensions and conflicts; and
  • promote the role of civil society organisations in alternative dispute management and resolution systems.

Applicants are invited to submit Concept Notes following the instructions given in the Guidelines.  The deadline for submission of Concept Notes is 29 May 2019 at 12:00hrs, Brussels date and time online via PROSPECT: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/europeaid/prospect.  In order to convert to Kenyan time, see link in the guidelines.
