My name is Iwona Piórko and I am the new European Union Ambassador to your country. Since my arrival two weeks ago, I have strongly felt the warmth of your people and the richness of your culture.
I arrive at a crucial moment in our shared history and the European Union stands by your side. My job is to listen and connect with you. I will go to every single corner of your country, every region to learn how to better help your communities.
I come from Poland and I am old enough to remember all the efforts and the transformation that the EU has brought to everyday life.
With determination and unity, Moldova will be part of the European Union, and we are here to help.
