A GIFT OF CARE AND HOPE FOR THE CHILDREN OF BANGUI

Organised and delivered by the Bosnian contingent, with the support of EUTM RCA, this gesture went far beyond material assistance. The donation included beds and mattresses to give the children a safe and comfortable place to rest, along with school supplies, additional learning materials, dehumidifiers, toys, essential food items, and drinking water, resources meant to bring both comfort and joy into their daily lives.

For the children, each item was more than a necessity, it was a symbol of care, solidarity, and hope. Their smiles and laughter on receiving these gifts were a powerful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can light up lives.

This initiative reflects the mission’s dedication to core European values such as solidarity, respect for human rights, and the protection of the most vulnerable. It also highlights the essential role of civil-military cooperation in building social cohesion and fostering stability in the Central African Republic.
