At the start of his visit to Rome, Jozef Sikela, the new EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, had a very cordial & constructive meeting with the IFAD President Alvaro Lario. They discussed concrete projects for further close cooperation in the future. 

IFAD is a key partner for the EU when it comes to investing in rural development across the globe.
