The European Union considers Thailand as an important partner in an important region. Our trade and investment relations create jobs in both Thailand and Europe. Our cooperation on issues such as climate change and additional development is essential for both Europe and Thailand and the planet. Thailand has long been a strong supporter of relations between ASEAN and the EU. With Thailand’s support, we launched the EU-ASEAN strategic partnership in December 2020. There is much more than the EU and Thailand can do together, both bilaterally and regionally.
