The EU is supporting the Somali Heritage Week & Book Fair in Nairobi, which was officialy opened today by guest of honour Kamukunji MP Hon. Yusuf Hassan. The event at the Kenya National Theater features authors, musicians, cultural troupes, students, youth groups and other culture lovers and and will run until Sunday, 16 October. A number of Somali and English books are also on sale at the venue.
