To mark the 13th EU Anti-Trafficking Day, the European Commission is urging Member States to end the impunity of traffickers by stepping up prevention efforts and bringing perpetrators to justice.

Les 28 et 29 octobre, l’Union européenne, le Haut-Commissariat des Nations unies pour les réfugiés (HCR) et l’Organisation internationale pour les migrations organiseront conjointement, à Bruxelles, la conférence internationale de solidarité sur la crise des réfugiés et des migrants vénézuéliens.

Die Europäische Union wird gemeinsam mit dem Hohen Flüchtlingskommissar der Vereinten Nationen (UNHCR) und der Internationalen Organisation für Migration am 28. und 29. Oktober in Brüssel die Internationale Solidaritätskonferenz zur venezolanischen Flüchtlings- und Migrationskrise ausrichten.

On 28-29 October in Brussels, the European Union, together with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and UN Migration Agency (IOM), will host the International Solidarity Conference on the Venezuelan refugee and migrant crisis.

The European Council on 17 and 18 October 2019 adopted conclusions on the MFF, the next institutional cycle, climate change, enlargement, Turkey, illegal drilling activities and MH17.

European security and defence has turned 20 this year and while more work lies ahead, a lot has been achieved over the past few years. Today, the EU is a global security provider, taking an active role to stabilise our neighbourhood and keep European citizens safe. There is a unique European way to security and peace, and the EU’s civilian and military missions and operations are a part of it. Some of their work can be measured in numbers.

A União Europeia, juntamente com o Alto Comissariado das Nações Unidas para os Refugiados (ACNUR) e a Organização Internacional para as Migrações, coorganizará a Conferência de solidariedade internacional sobre a crise dos refugiados e migrantes na Venezuela, que decorrerá em Bruxelas em 28 e 29 de outubro.

Estima-se que, até à data, 4,3 milhões de venezuelanos tenham abandonado a Venezuela em resultado da turbulência política, da instabilidade socioeconómica e da crise humanitária no seu país.
