France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the High Representative express their deep concern over Iran's announcements and actions in contradiction with its commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The IAEA has confirmed in its extraordinary report of 8 September that advanced centrifuges have been installed or are being installed in Natanz. France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the High Representative are deeply concerned by these activities.

In response to an invitation by President Hashim Thaçi, the European Union has deployed an EU Election Observation Mission to Kosovo to observe the early parliamentary elections, scheduled for 6 October 2019. The European Union has a long history of accompanying electoral processes in Kosovo and has deployed EOMs on four previous occasions, the last two in 2017, which reflects the EU's long-term commitment and partnership with Kosovo.

On the occasion of the International Day of Democracy, the European Union reaffirms its commitment towards democracy as a fundamental right of every human being. Every woman and every man has to be free to participate to the political, economic and social life of her or his country.

La Alta Representante de la Unión Europea para Asuntos Exteriores y Política de Seguridad/Vicepresidenta de la Comisión Europea, Federica Mogherini, se reunió el jueves en Bogotá con el Presidente de Colombia, Iván Duque Márquez.

Durante la reunión, ambos discutieron el progreso logrado en las relaciones UE-Colombia en los últimos cinco años y las perspectivas para fortalecer aún más su cooperación, incluso a través de un nuevo marco político.

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini met on Thursday in Bogota with the President of Colombia, Iván Duque Márquez.

During the meeting, they discussed the progress achieved in EU-Colombia relations in the last five years and perspectives for further strengthening their partnership, including through a new political framework.

Today, the European Commission and the World Health Organization (WHO) are co-hosting the world's first Global Vaccination Summit in Brussels. The aim is to accelerate global action to stop the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases, and advocate against the spread of vaccine misinformation worldwide.

The Council has extended the restrictive measures over actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine for a further six months, until 15 March 2020.
