Місце України в Європейській морській спільноті. Майбутнє та перспективи морської галузі в умовах глобальних економічних викликів

Команда TeamEurope Mykolaiv за підтримки Представництва Європейського Союзу в Україні запрошує представників ЗМІ взяти участь у круглому столі «Місце України в Європейській морській спільноті. Майбутнє та перспективи морської галузі в умовах глобальних економічних викликів», що відбудеться в м. Миколаїв 30 вересня 2020 року.

Круглий стіл організовано командою TeamEurope Mykolaiv в рамках проєкту «Інформаційна підтримка Мереж ЄС в Україні». Захід проходитиме в рамках щорічного засідання європейської морської спільноти European Maritime Day (EMD), започаткованого спільно Європейською Радою, Європейським Парламентом та Європейською Комісією у 2008 році.

Метою проведення круглого столу є консолідація зусиль та спільних дій ключовими стейкхолдерами - основними гравцями ринку, представниками центральних та місцевих органів влади, - аби підтримати морську галузь України, а також активізувати  діяльність  Української морської спільноти в європейській.

У рамках зустрічі планується кілька напрямів обговорення:

1. Міжнародна співпраця з метою взаємовигідного партнерства та подальшого розвитку морської галузі.
2. Роль Морського кластеру України у функціонуванні та розвитку морської галузі.
3. EU Blue Career Programs: Ефективні практики з покращення підготовки молодих кадрів для результативнішого функціонування галузі.
4. Законодавче поле розбудови морської галузі в Україні.
5. Світові тенденції морської індустрії: відповідаємо на виклики.

Проведення галузевої зустрічі надасть можливість визначити основні пріоритети та перелік ключових заходів для подальшого розвитку галузі як на національному рівні, так і міжнародному - в кооперації з профільними інституціями.

Довідкова інформація: Ініціатива Team Europe об'єднує експертів і фахівців із різних сфер, які прагнуть посилити різносторонні відносини між Україною та ЄС. Експерти діляться ідеями для поширення європейських цінностей, підтримки українських реформ, залучення фінансової та технічної допомоги ЄС. Заходи Team Europe підтримує Представництво ЄС в Україні.

Role of Ukraine in the European Maritime Community.

The Future and Perspectives of the Maritime Sector

in the Context of Global Economic Challenges

TeamEurope Mykolaiv supported by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine invites media representatives to participate in a roundtable discussion “The Role of Ukraine in the European Maritime Community. The Future and Perspectives of the Maritime Sector in the Context of Global Economic Challenges” which is scheduled to take place in Mykolaiv on 30 September 2020.

The event is organized by TeamEurope Mykolaiv within the EU-funded project “Information Support to the EU Networks in Ukraine”. The event is dedicated to the European Maritime Day celebration by the European Maritime Community. European Maritime Day was established in 2008 by the European Council, the European Parliament, and the European Commission.

The roundtable discussion is aimed at stepping up efforts and joint actions by the key stakeholders - main market players, national and local authorities - to support Ukraine’s maritime sector and to stimulate activities of the Ukrainian Maritime Community within the European one.

The discussion will be focused on the following topics:

1. International cooperation for beneficial partnership and further development of the maritime sector.
2. Role of Ukraine`s Maritime cluster in the maritime sector`s functioning and development.
3. EU Blue Career Programs: best practices for enhancing quality of young professionals’ training for the efficient performance of the industry.
4. Legislative base for maritime sector development in Ukraine.
5. Maritime industry global trends: facing current challenges.

This sectoral meeting will help to identify main priorities and define key activities for further development of the sector at both national and international levels in cooperation with field institutions.

Background information: Team Europe Ukraine Initiative brings together experts and professionals from different fields, who aim at strengthening EU-Ukraine relations. The experts share ideas to promote European values, to support Ukrainian reforms, to attract EU`s financial and technical assistance. Team Europe activities are supported by the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
