Germany, Uganda and Member States join forces to enable 250 stranded foreigners to return home

Repatriation operations continue as Europeans are returned safely back home from Uganda.

On Saturday, 4 April, more than 250 German and other stranded tourists as well as visitors, volunteers and vulnerable people from 20 different countries flew safely out from Entebbe to Cologne on a repatriation flight organised by the German Foreign Office.

The operation was supported by the Government of Uganda, several embassies and the EU delegation who provided consular support to EU citizens.
