Celebrating Erasmus Days 2019 in Indonesia: Alumni Give Back
Former scholarship recipients of the Erasmus+ Programme celebrated Erasmus Days 2019 on 12 October in Jakarta by gathering with Indonesian youths to introduce the Erasmus+ Scholarship Programme and promote actions to fight against climate change.
EU Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E Vincent Piket said:
“Since 2004, more than 1,800 Indonesian students and scholars have benefitted from the Erasmus+ Scholarship Programme. This programme also provides opportunities for more than 500 students and lecturers from European countries to come to Indonesian universities to conduct lectures, training and undertake short-term credit exchanges. The big number of scholarship awardees and pool of alumni from Indonesia is proof of their great potential and how they can make a change”.
