The Delegation of the European Union to Sudan launches a traineeship program for young Sudanese called the 'Sudanese Juniors Trainees Program" (SJTP). The objective of the SJTP is to provide trainees with a unique experience about the daily work of an EU Delegation while learning about the representation of the EU interests and values in Sudan. SJTP offers the trainees the possibility of discovering directly the multicultural, multilingual and multi-ethnic working environment of a Delegation.
What is the program?
'Sudanese Juniors Trainees Program" (SJTP) is a two months duration. SJTP applicant will perform duties from 08:00am to 04:00pm, Sundays to Thursdays at the EU Delegation in the Political, Press and Communication Section. The tasks of the SJTP will include:
Who can apply?
Nationals of the host country (Republic of the Sudan) or EU citizens resident in Sudan.
Applicants shall be last year students of a University or fresh year higher-education establishment. The applicants should be specialized in political sciences, social sciences media, management and journalism domains.
In order for the trainee to fully benefit from the traineeship, candidates must have the capacity to speak, write and understand English and Arabic fluently.
Please note that applications will not be accepted from candidates who have already benefited from any kind of training (paid or unpaid) or employment for more than 6 weeks within an EU institution, body, agency or office.
The SJTP Trainee will receive a motivational fee that covers the transportation costs to/from the delegation.
The selection process is managed at Delegation's level.
The deadline to receive the applications is Monday 10 June 2019 (04:00 PM Khartoum Local Time)
Conclusion of the Program:
At the end of completing the two months of the 'Sudanese Juniors Trainees Program" (SJTP) , the SJTP trainee should present a successful report or project. The SJTP trainee will receive a certificate of accomplishment.
